The Federal Energy Regulator Commission (FERC) announced that it will hold 3 public scoping meetings for the Rio Grande LNG project and its associated Rio Bravo Pipeline project. The scoping meetings will take place in during the week of August 10th in Raymondville, Port Isabel and Kingsville, Texas. Details for the exact times and locations can be found here. Scoping meetings are designed to inform the public about the proposed projects, giving them the opportunity to speak with FERC and project staff, as well as to provide the public with the opportunity to give public comment on the projects and help identify areas that the FERC ought to focus its NEPA review.
